Civic Engagement

As part of using your voice, we are looking for people doing extraordinary things to encourage equality, unity and inclusion in communities across our country. You can be anyone – mentors, coaches, teachers, students, volunteers, police officers  – who embodies these values in their daily lives. We want you to encourage others to take action. using the power of networking to break down barriers, bring people together and develop important bonds of trust between young people, mentors, community leaders & law enforcement. We seek to create opportunities for young people, parents, local leaders and members of law enforcement to sit down and engage in candid dialogue about the challenges we face and our shared responsibility to create change.

Building on the partnership with MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership, we will continue to highlight the power of mentoring and encourage Americans to become mentors using PSAs, grassroots events, ticket donations and online organizing. new mentoring sign ups at mentoring.org.

You don’t have to have all the answers or all the time in the world to be someone’s hero!
